A virtual information session about the infrastructure project on Bruce Road 25 is Saugeen Shores is set to take place tonight.
The project will see construction between Goderich Street and the future Bruce Street/Bruce Road 33, complete with a roundabout.
On Monday, November 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m., the meeting will guide people through design and construction plans, discuss traffic control, access, services, detours, and storm water control.
Pre-registration was last Friday, but a video will be posted online afterwards for those who did not sign up for the live meeting.
In May 2017, the County and the Town completed a Master Plan for plan for a number of road and drainage projects, including along Bruce Roads 25 and 33.
Phase 1 was constructed in 2019 with Phase 2 being completed in 2020.
A Municipal Class Environmental Assessment was also carried out in May 2020.
The County says phase 3 of the Master Plan will see construction underway on Bruce Road 25 from approximately April 2021 through November 2021.
The November 2nd virtual public meeting is hosted by Bruce County’s Transportation and Environmental Services Department, the Town of Saugeen Shores, and engineering consultant GM BluePlan Engineering Limited.
