BNN Bloomberg Canada has named Bruce Power VP of Corporate Affairs and Operational Services James Scongack as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.
Bloomberg’s list features what the business news network says is, “A celebration of the top up-and-coming leaders in the country.”
The award recognizes Scongack for his leadership in, “operational services, business and market development, nuclear regulatory affairs, environment, external relations and isotopes.”
The list highlights some of Scongack’s other roles including serving as Chair of the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council, the 2020 Green Ribbon Panel on the Environment and Economy as well as being on the boards of LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services, the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO).
Scongack says he’s honoured to be part of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, saying in a tweet, “Every day I work with an amazing family at Bruce Power who make a difference. Their hard work is making positive contribution to Canada and the world.”
Scongack adds he’s “Excited about the future.”
Scongack is among 39 other honourees who include doctors, investors, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders of organizations.
