Police believe they are looking for the same suspect wanted in connection with two armed robbery attempts in Gravenhurst and two other robberies in Orillia.
Police say a man armed with a taser robbed a victim of $300 cash at a Coboconk ATM on Sunday, and another person at a drive-thru ATM in Orillia on Monday morning.
Then, police say the suspect tried to rob two convenience stores in Gravenhurst Monday evening, armed with what appeared to be a firearm, but left empty-handed in both cases.
The OPP says a newer model white sedan was seen parked in the area of each robbery, which is believed to be his getaway vehicle.
Police are asking that anyone who was travelling on Winewood Avenue between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm on October 26th and has dashcam in-vehicle video coverage to call Bracebridge OPP.
Police believe there may be witnesses to these events who were driving or walking in the area at the time of the offence. If anyone recognizes the suspect or has knowledge of this crime, please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
OPP is seeking the public's assistance in an on-going investigation involving several robberies across our region involving this suspect (armed with a CEW and firearm) & possibly associated to a newer model white four-door sedan ^kv @CrimeSDM #CKLOPP #OrilliaOPP #BracebridgeOPP pic.twitter.com/pz86x4bTcI
