South Bruce OPP are investigating break-ins at six seasonal properties in Kincardine.
OPP say two cottages on Golf Course Trail in Kincardine and four cottages on Bruce Beach Road in Huron Township were broken into sometime between October 16th and October 19th.
The list of stolen property includes a Hisense big screen TV, a Panasonic plasma TV, power tools and a Bose surround sound system.
Police are reminding seasonal property owners to ensure their valuables are removed and the property is properly secured. They say to frequently check, or have someone check on your seasonal properties during the off-season.
OPP also say, you might want to consider engraving valuables with an identifier using an engraver or permanent marker to deter criminals from stealing them. They say it will also make it easier for Police to return property to the rightful owner if recovered.
OPP say any suspicious people, vehicles or activity should be reported to police immediately so that an officer can investigate.
They add, for more information on protecting your property, including the SafeGuard Ontario Property Security Program, visit www.opp.ca.
