The Toronto Players Golf Tour announced their year end awards.
The Most Improved Player award for 2020 goes to Owen Sound golfer Austin Ryan.
Ryan, who won the tour stop at Saugeen Golf Club this year, received more than 60% of votes from his peers.
On the year Ryan had a 2nd place finish on the Mid-Season Swing as well as 3rd place on the TPT money list.

NHL Cancels Events
The National Hockey League announced the postponement of both the 2021 Winter Classic and the All-Star Game.
The annual outdoor game was scheduled for January 1st at Target Field in Minnesota.
The All-Star Game was scheduled for January 30th in Florida.
Secret Support For PWHPA
The Professional Women’s Hockey Players’ Association has received a $1 million sponsorship from the deodorant company Secret.
The PWHPA and the company claims it is the largest corporate commitment ever made in North American professional women’s hockey history.
Close to 200 players formed the PWHPA in the wake of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League folding in 2019.
