Barrie police are investigating a violent armed robbery downtown.
Police say it happened on Friday night in an alley off Dunlop near Mulcaster, when a woman was heading home from a night out and was attacked by two people.
Police say the victim suffered cuts from some sort of edged weapon and had her purse stolen, as well as a jacket and pair of boots she had bought earlier in the day.
Police are looking for two suspects: a man and a woman.
They are also appealing for any video surveillance in the area.
