Police have seized over $100,000 in meth in a substantial drug bust in Hanover.
South Bruce OPP say on Sunday (Oct 18) members of their Community Street Crimes Unit, the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team and Hanover Police Service concluded a lengthy drug investigation with the arrest of two people at a property on 7th Street in Hanover.
OPP say during the arrest, police seized a large quantity of methamphetamine.
They say the estimated value of the seized controlled substance is $100,700.00.
OPP say officers also seized offence related property including two cell phones and a quantity of cash.
A 34 year old Hanover man is charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Flight from police
Operation while Prohibited
2 counts of Fail to comply with Release Order
2 counts of Fail to comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending the result of a bail hearing.
A 30 year old Brockton Woman is charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of Methamphetamine
Flight from police
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on December 16, 2020 to answer to the charges.
