A suspicious fire at a townhouse in Orillia has led to more than dozen charges against a 50 year old man.
Police say the suspect went on a crime spree on Saturday, which began in the early morning hours when a man on a motorcycle smashed an apartment window and a truck window at an address on Nottawasaga Street before fleeing the scene.
A short while later, police received a report that a motorcyclist was refusing to leave a Mississauga Street address, where the accused was taken into custody and a knife was seized.
Police say the motorcycle had been reported stolen and the man was also allegedly responsible for setting fire to a townhouse on Regent Street the same day.
The accused is scheduled for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
