In Race 8 for the 3 year old trotting Colts & Geldings, ” Pemberton, won in 1.52 & 4, pocketing it’s share of a $ 250,000 purse.
Driven by Trevor Henry of Arthur, Pemberton is trained by Paul Walker of Owen Sound and co-owned by Walker’s wife, Brenda, & their daughter Christine.
On the year, Pemberton scored 8 wins, 4 of them in Gold Series action, and earned in excess of $300,000.
Of note, Angel Nation which is trained by Allenford native Ted Macdonnell finished 2nd in the race and the exactor paid $ 89,80.
Another prominent horse trained by Walker, Imextraspecial, broke in the first race for 2 year old fillies and did not finish.
