The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate a suspicious fire at a townhouse in Orillia.
Firefighters were called on Saturday morning, when the owner of the property on Regent Street arrived home, heard the alarms and called 9-1-1.
Officials say the fire had mostly gone out by itself and damage is estimated at 150-thousand dollars, but most of the fire damage was sustained in one particular end unit.
No one was injured.
Our investigators have arrived and will be working with our partners in community safety to determine the cause and origin of this fire. https://t.co/HnN0Pdo6T2 pic.twitter.com/EwV3RaaePx
