Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the Town has signed an agreement with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) to bring another nurse practitioner to town.
Charbonneau says on Twitter, the nurse will have the capacity to roster 500 orphaned patients and provide urgent care to people without a doctor in the community.
The nurse will work out of the Saugeen Shores Medical Building located at 36 Grey Street North in Southampton.
