The family of a well-known businessman is sharing the sad news of his death.
Richard Wayne Tigwell (who went by Dick) has died.
His son Billy says, Tigwell died on August 16th, after being involved in an ATV accident while enjoying his time at his home in The Bahamas.
He was 67 years old. He leaves behind his wife Jocelyn (Jo) Tigwell, and son Billy Tigwell as well as many other loved family and friends.
Billy Tigwell says his father had been an entrepreneur his whole life, starting his first business in 47 years ago in 1973.
Dick started Tigwell Motorsports in 2002 and has been at the current location in Alvanley (8151 Hwy 21 in Allenford) for 15 years.
Billy says Tigwell Motorsports looks forward to carrying on Dick’s legacy, “As a family run business providing excellent service to the community for many years to come,” adding, “We thank you for your support during this tough time.”
