Fall Hydrant Flushing begins today in Clearview Township and runs for most of the month.
The Water Department will be flushing hydrants between 8:30 AM & 4:30 PM.
It says water interruptions could occur and discolored water could stain laundry.
If your water remains discolored or dirty, run water until clear.
The hydrant-flushing will take place on the following dates and locations:
Creemore: October 7 – 9
New Lowell: October 7 – 9
Stayner: October 13 – 16
Nottawa: October 21 – 23
Colling-Woodlands: October 26 – 28
Buckingham Woods: October 28 – 30
It is also recommended water softeners are left in by-pass mode during these times.
