Pumpkinfest’s main event goes Saturday with the Bruce Power International Weigh Off, and this year, the community can take part virtually.
Organizers say there will be an official, safe, physical distancing site for giant vegetable growers to have their entries weighed and measured.
The weigh off starts at 9 a.m. The broadcast will include pre-taped favourites like celebrity seed spitting, harvest star search, local musicians and pumpkin carving contest
Local musical artists include Shakey Trill, The Ending to this Story and Midnight Sundogs.
The traditional rolling car show is also online this year and will also be showcased during the event.
