Today the Federal government launched a $10 billion infrastructure plan that will help Canadians get back on their feet
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says it will create about 60,000 jobs across the country in a wide variety of sectors.
The livelihoods of every single worker in the country is important, he said, as many lost hours and jobs this past Spring.
“Through the Canada Infrastructure Bank, this 3-year growth plan will invest in everything from clean power, zero-emission busses and home retrofits to broadband and irrigation infrastructure for farmers,” said Trudeau.
The PM says the announcement will build stronger, healthier communities.
He says it’s a win-win with smart, targeted investments.
We’re announcing new investments in infrastructure that will create thousands of good jobs across the country, help our economy recover from the pandemic, and build a future that’s cleaner and more competitive. Watch our announcement live for the details: https://t.co/36q4g0GTjf
