The Province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has invoked its mandate after an interaction between Almaguin Highlands OPP and a person in a residence.
Few details have been released by the detachment, just that on Tuesday, July 7th at 9:15 pm officers responded to a call for service and upon their arrival, there was an interaction between a person in the residence and a responding officer.
As a result of the interaction, the SIU invoked its mandate.
The OPP says it won’t be able to provide any further information.
