Springwater Township is holding a virtual public meeting on Zoom today about a temporary by-law amendment, allowing backyard chickens as part of a 3-year pilot project.
The effect of the amendment is to temporarily allow the keeping of Backyard Chickens on residential lots within the Township of Springwater.
A special meeting of council will take place at 4 p.m. to discuss possible licensing regulations, while the public is asked to join in at 6:30 p.m..
The Council meeting will also be live streamed on the Township’s YouTube channel here.
