Many of the people who came to Wasaga Beach for the unsanctioned car rally on the weekend, were allegedly from Quebec.
Quebec has been seeing its Covid-19 cases soar. Today, there are 750 new cases.
Wasaga Beach mayor Nina Bifolchi says many residents are angry about the large crowd and unsafe driving. She says she is too.
Bifolchi says OPP took the lead because public safety was involved.
Premier Doug Ford, during his daily address today, had words to say about the young people who gathered, with disregard for physical distancing and mask wearing.
Huronia West OPP say they are currently updating an accurate number of charges and impoundments from the weekend.
