Police have laid charges in the death of an infant in Wasaga Beach.
OPP say that on April 17, just before midnight, an investigation was started into the death of an 11 month old boy.
Yesterday, police charged the child’s mother, a 39 year old of no fixed address, with manslaughter, criminal negligence causing death, failing to provide the necessities of life, and possession of a controlled substance-fentanyl.
