A prominent volunteer in Orangeville has passed away.
Former President of the Headwaters Health Care Auxiliary and Headwaters Health Care Foundation board member Sue Fletcher has passed away.
Fletcher died suddenly from cancer, at the age of 69.
She was a long time volunteer at the hospital Emergency Department before taking on her role with the Auxiliary.
She was able to work towards bringing the Auxiliary to becoming incorporated, and during her time as leader, the Auxiliary helped to contribute $250-thousand dollars to build a new main staircase as part of the hospital renovation.
In addition to her hospital work, she also was a long time Theatre Orangeville family member, serving on both the board, and staff.
