Fall is looking dryer and warmer than normal, according to a Senior Climatologist with Environment Canada.
David Phillips says temperatures will be a few degrees above normal throughout September and October, with weather conditions moving between dry and wet.
“You get a couple of good days, followed by a couple of foul days — yo-yo weather. And I think we have seen that in September.”
If you are looking for a good place to view the Autumn foliage, you will want to wait until mid-October.
Phillips tells us the warmer conditions mean trees will wait for a significant cool-down before drastically changing colour.
