Funding is coming to hospitals in Huron and Bruce counties, for upgrades, repairs, and maintenance.
The money is part of the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
- Hospitals receiving money include:
- South Huron Hospital – $446,012
- Wingham and District Hospital – $497,793
- Seaforth Community Hospital – $365,478
- Alexandra Marine and General Hospital – $146,332
- Clinton Public Hospital – $223,880
- South Bruce Grey Health Centre – $2,165,017 (including hospitals in Kincardine, Walkerton, Chesley, and Durham)
Goderich’s Alexandra Marine and General Hospital is currently fundraising $3.5 million to replace the aging CT Scanner and refurbish the inpatient Mental Health and Addictions Unit.
