OPP are searching for a man who reportedly jumped off the Bayfield River Bridge.
Police say they were called to the Bluewater town Wednesday afternoon, after a man climbed the bridge’s construction scaffolding and dived into the river.
According to reports, witnesses saw the man come to the surface of the water, but eventually lost sight of him.
Officials say they conducted a short search, but were not able to find the man.
OPP say they were contacted early Thursday by the diver, and learned he made it shore safely, and performed the dive as a stunt.
