Premier Doug Ford will be speaking with his cabinet and affected Mayors about new limits on social gatherings in current Covid-19 hotspots.
Numbers will be available tomorrow and there will be fines if people don’t follow the guidelines.
“There’s going to be some severe, severe fines, if people wanna ignore the regulations and the guidelines so it’s going to be severe,” said Ford. “They are going to be the highest in the country.”
Concerning future case counts, Health Minister Christine Elliott says several models show the best to worst-case scenarios. The applicable plan will be rolled out when and if they occur.
Hotspots in the Province currently include Toronto, Ottawa Brampton and Mississauga
