The second wave of Covid-19 could be more complicated than the first one.
That from Premier Doug Ford today who says that’s the input he’s getting from health experts.
In the meantime, a $2.5 million Provincial government deal has been made with Guelph-based Linamar Corp Life for 10,000 ventilators for hospitals, Long Term Care Homes and front-line healthcare workers.
Over the next day or two, the Ford government will also be providing an update on the Covid situation in hotspots around Ontario.
“Over the next day or two we are going to be rolling out announcements for regions that are affected and also about the testing and taking the burden off the hospitals and other testing areas,” said Ford.
Ford adds that the Province is doing a ramped-up job of testing for the virus already.
He says it’s the difference between being ready and not.
