A 31-year-old Barrie man has been charged with impaired driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Sunday around 3 am, police responded after a vehicle struck a guardrail on Highway 400 and then exited at County Road 89.
Police found the vehicle in a ditch between the 10th Sideroad and the 400.
They say the driver was found walking away from the scene.
The accused was also charged with Over 80.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven.
There were no injuries.
