The 2020 Denis Bester Memorial Shootout was conducted recently.
The angling event, which to a certain extent, filled in for the cancelled Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular this summer had a terrific turnout and result.
Cliff Broadfoot won the Shootout with 3 Salmon that accumulated 83.62 points.
Furthermore, the week long event generated $ 20,500 which will be split between Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Grey Bruce and the Salvation Army Family Services.
Fred Wallace spoke to Shootout organizer Drew Watson who offered his observations on the event.
