Police have made an arrest after a driver fled the scene of a crash in Severn Township.
OPP say that on Saturday (September 5) around 3:15 P.M., officers were called to a single vehicle roll-over on Highway 400 northbound near Port Severn Road.
Before police arrived, the driver fled into nearby bushes.
A passenger was taken to a Midland area hospital as a precaution.
A child who was also in the vehicle was taken to a Toronto area hospital as a precaution.
The driver was found a short time later by the canine unit and arrested.
A 23 year old Penetanguishene man is charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop at an accident, driving while suspended and obstruct police.
