The longest March Break ever is finally over, as many kids across the province head back-to-school today–at least those who are attending in-class learning.
Elementary students in the Simcoe County District School Board, students with the surnames A-G will attend class today, while letters H-O will join them tomorrow and the rest on Thursday.
All secondary students in the SCDSB will also attend Thursday, but all students in county class programs will begin class today.
Students, teachers and school staff must self-screen for symptoms of COVID-19 before leaving home.
Students and staff who are unwell must stay home from school.
Students in Grades 4 to 12 will be required to wear non-medical or cloth masks indoors in school, including in hallways and during classes.
Students in kindergarten to Grade 3 will be encouraged, but not required, to wear masks in indoor spaces.
