Community Foundation Grey Bruce has put out a call for grant applications as its fall intake deadline nears.
The Foundation says charities and non-profit organizations across Grey and Bruce counties have until Sept. 15 to apply to receive funding for eligible projects.
According to a release, the projects must benefit the local community in one of several areas:
-Arts and culture
-Health and wellness
-Education and lifelong learning
-Living standards
-The environment
-Community connections
The Foundation advises applicants will be asked to describe how their project relates to its Vital Signs report — a community check-up conducted by community foundations across Canada that measures the vitality of communities, identifies significant trends and supports action on issues critical to quality of life.
Grants will be distributed to successful applicants in October 2020.
More details about the application process are available here.
