
Daily Covid case growth in Ontario continues to rise with provincial health officials reporting 169 new infections on Saturday.
It marks the highest number of new cases across the province since the end of July.
Most of the new positive tests are in the Peel (46), Toronto (42) and Ottawa (30) regions.
According to provincial health officials, 28 of Ontario’s 34 public health units had five or fewer cases and 19 reported none at all.
In Grey Bruce, the health unit disclosed one new case on Friday. There are currently two active known COVID-19 cases in the region.
