A 37-year-old man faces several charges after a speeding motorcycle failed to stop for police in Bradford.
On Wednesday afternoon, an officer observed an unplated motorcycle on Holland Street East.
The officer pulled behind the motorcycle and it fled onto Bridge Street at a high rate of speed.
The officer clocked the bike at 211 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.
Police did not pursue the motorcycle because of public safety.
After a search of the area, the motorcycle was found in the area of Highway 11 and Bathurst
Street where the driver lost control and stopped.
The uninjured driver was arrested.
A man from Oshawa is charged with dangerous driving, flight from police, stunt driving, speeding, four counts of failing to comply with release orders, no licence plate, and failing to surrender driver’s licence.
