Public Health Grey Bruce says results from re-sampling the water at Little River Beach in Thornbury are now in.
They show that the water quality falls within acceptable levels of bacteria. The posting of the beach is being lifted.
Public Health says swimming is generally discouraged after heavy rainfall or when water is cloudy following significant wave action, such as during and after a storm or heavy winds.
They say those are factors that stir up bacteria. Storms rolled back through the region Thursday afternoon and swimmers are advised to refrain from swimming after these storms.
