Hanover Fire Chief Jeff Dentinger says the lights and sirens heard around town Tuesday night were mainly part of a test being conducted.
He says on Twitter is was the ‘Superior Water Shuttle Test’ which involved, “Four tankers supplying water to ensure 1000 litres a minute.”
Dentinger says the fire department had emergency calls just before and during the test, but doesn’t specify what for.
HFD completed the Superior Water Shuttle test last night. 4 tankers supplying water to ensure 1000 litres a minute. Lots of lights and sirens heard around town. HFD had emergency calls just before, and during the test as well. Great job by HFD crews to pass this critical test pic.twitter.com/Km550LV4R6
