Owen Sound Police have charged a local woman with mischief and making threats after an incident involving her landlord.
Police say on Sunday evening, (Aug 30th) a landlord was at his downtown apartment building doing some property maintenance when his 50 year old female tenant came downstairs and told him to stop working.
According to police, after she left, the landlord noticed water dripping from the ceiling under her apartment so he turned the water off to prevent damage.
Police say the woman became irate and came back downstairs with a baseball bat.
They report the woman proceeded to yell at her landlord and used the bat to damage two doors.
According to police, she then proceeded to verbally threaten the landlord after which she returned to her apartment.
Owen Sound Police attended and arrested the woman. She was later released and has a court date in September to answer to charges of Threats and Mischief.
