Grey Bruce OPP say they continue to investigate a fatal fire in Sauble Beach, but have not released new information about what caused it to happen.
OPP say members of their Crime Unit and West Region OPP Forensic Identification Services, under the direction of OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.
Police say on August 15th, at 7:55 a.m., emergency services were called to a structure fire at Mapleport Crescent.
OPP say the fire engulfed an out-building on the property, which was extinguished by South Bruce Peninsula firefighters.
A media release from the Town issued shortly after the fire said the blaze claimed the life of a 17 year old girl.
OPP say her identity will not be released until post mortem results are released.
