Saugeen Shores has named an interim Chief Administrative Officer.
The town’s Director of Community Services Jayne Jagelewski will take on the role, effective September 11.
In a release, the town advises the recruitment process for a permanent CAO has begun and will continue into the fall.
“I am confident that Director Jagelewski and our senior management team will be able to successfully lead the municipal administration until Council selects a new, permanent CAO,” says Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
Current CAO David Smith will leave his role with the Town of Saugeen Shores next month to pursue a similar position in Port Hope.
