An 11 year old girl is lucky to have escaped any serious injuries, after her paddleboard was hit by a boat in Georgian Bay Township.
Police say the accident happened on Saturday afternoon in Wood Landing Channel and the boat operator (a 33 year old St Thomas man) was issued a three day (ADLS) suspension for registering a warning on a breathalyzer.
Police add that a second operator riding with the accused at the time of the accident received the same results and suspension.
The little girl was treated and released by paramedics at the scene.
