A Huron County limousine and tour company is venturing into private school transport for students heading back to the classroom.
Wave Transportation Inc., which operates Wave Limo & Tours, is offering parent-funded transportation option for guardians wanting their kids to avoid school buses amid concerns surrounding COVID-19.
In Huron County, in-person classes are expected to resume September 8th.
Bradley Oke, Owner of Wave Limo & Tours, says the idea for privately-run school transportation began when his son inquired about transport for Oke’s grandchildren.
So far, Oke says three families have inquired about the private transportation, which would transport a minimum of four children per vehicle, and a maximum of ten.
He tells Country 104.9 News the vehicles have already been outfitted with partitions and hand sanitizer, and are ready to safely transport kids anywhere in Huron County.
Oke says any parents interested in private school transport for their kids can e-mail info@wave.limo .
