Shelburne’s Mayor and Deputy Mayor were honoured with an award this week.
Wade Mills and Steve Anderson received the Chair’s Award at Headwaters Health Care Centre.
The award honours individuals or organizations, who are affiliated with Headwaters and have made an outstanding contribution to the hospital, or who have supported the hospital during this past year and during this unprecedented time.
Mills and Anderson were recognized as being part of the Long-Term Care Response Team as they both played an integral role in the stabilization of Shelburne Long-Term Care Home and supported positive communication within Headwaters Health Care Centre, and had been available and ready to assist in any way needed.
