Premier Ford will be in Simcoe County today.
9:30 a.m. The Premier will begin his day in Oro-Medonte to take part in a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Automotive Innovation Park at Oro Station.
1:00 p.m. Premier Ford will be joined by Solicitor General Sylvia Jones, Thomas Carrique, Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police, and Jill Dunlop, MPP for Simcoe North, to make an announcement in Orillia.
2:15 p.m. The Premier will tour Molded Precision Components, a local company in Shanty Bay that shifted production in response to COVID-19 and has made more than 10 million face shields for frontline workers.
3:30 p.m. The Premier will end his day touring Jomi Engineering Services, a Barrie-based company that retooled its facility to produce respiratory filters for vital personal protective equipment.
