OPP in Caledon continue to investigate a fatal collision on Highway 10.
Authorities say around 6:45 am yesterday Wednesday August 19th, a car and a dump truck collided at Olde Base Line Road.
They say the dump truck was travelling south on Highway 10 while the sedan was going east on Olde Base Line Road and they collided right in the intersection.
The driver of the sedan – a 50-year-old Caledon resident – was killed.
The road was closed for approximately 9 hours while a collision reconstruction team tried to figure out what happened.
Caledon OPP is appealing to the public for additional witnesses of this collision.
