Pollock Injured
Referee Kevin Pollock will miss the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs after suffering a broken jaw during Game 3 Saturday between the Boston Bruins and the Carolina Hurricanes.
Pollock, who is from Kincardine, was the NHL’s most senior playoff referee in the bubble.
Game 3 was his 203rd career NHL playoff game.

CFL Cancels Season
The Canadian Football League cancelled the 2020 season yesterday.
The 9-team league announced the move, dashing hopes of a shortened season in the hub city of Winnipeg.
The decision means the Grey Cup won’t be presented for the dirst time since 1919.

Jones Vacates UFC Title
Jon ” Bones ” Jones, the UFC light heavyweight champion, says he is vacating his title and probably moving up to heavyweight.
Jones made the declarations on Twitter yesterday, although the UFC didn’t immediately confirm them.
