A traffic stop in Midland has resulted in drug and weapons charges.
On Saturday night, officers pulled over a back dodge pick up truck near Yonge and Hartman Drive, and while speaking with the driver, a handgun was noticed inside the vehicle.
It was seized, while the driver was taken into custody and the continuing investigation resulted in the seizure of cash and crack cocaine.
A 50 year old man is now facing several charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm and failing to comply with a probation order.
