Stunt driving charges have been laid against a 19 year old man.
Thursday August 13th an Orangeville Police officer caught a vehicle on Veteran’s Way, going well over the speed limit, in a 60 zone.
The area has had many complaints about the excessive speeding.
The driver was caught around 11:45 pm, going 148 km/h – almost 90 km over the posted limit.
Police seized the vehicle to be impounded for 7 days and the driver received a 7 day licence suspension.
