Some funding is available for small businesses in Huron County who have made changes to adapt to COVID-19.
The Huron Recovery Grant Program will award grants of up to $2,500 to eligible applicants in Huron County as they pivot to maintain operations and to help offset costs associated with this transition.
The program will require businesses to demonstrate ways they have innovated in their adjustments to life under the novel coronavirus.
Applications for the program are due August 31, with a mentorship and training program running from September 1 to September 30.
Training will include a series of four webinars that will help businesses develop their idea, understand the return on investment, determine the project impact and how to make a great pitch.
Businesses will submit final proposals and present to a review team, with the winning businesses being announced during Small Business Week (October 19 to 23, 2020).
