A new exhibit is opening at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton today.
“20/20 Sight Seeing” features stunning landscapes and picturesque moments expressed by artist Marion R. Anderson.
Anderson is known for her textured works that celebrate a rural background, a love of florals and association with the Great Lakes.
She was the winner of the Bruce Roots Juried Art Show in 2017.
“This is an exhibition to say, “thank you”, for all you have taught me in the classroom, the studio and the gallery,” says Anderson in a statement. “May my sightseeing journeys continue with you for many, many years to come!”
The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre opens to members as of Monday, and then to the general public on Aug. 24.
