Barrie Police are investigating after a person was struck by a vehicle in the city’s south end.
At 10 pm Sunday police received a call from a victim who had been struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
It happened in the parking lot of 61 King Street.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
A vehicle was seen in the area and was described as a dark, two-door older vehicle with two male occupants.
The investigation continues.
Police are asking the public who may have been in the area, or who may have surveillance footage from the area to reach out to them.
