
Speeding was the major infraction charged by Huron County police during the Civic Long Weekend.
OPP say they issued 89 tickets for speeding during the recent holiday weekend, while 66-hundred traffic-related charges were laid province-wide.
In Huron County, two seatbelt-related charges were laid, along with one impaired driving charge.
It was also a deadly long weekend along the Lake Huron Shoreline, after a Brampton man drowned off the shore of Grand Bend.
