The Bruce County Public Library is set to open its doors to the public mid-month.
As of Monday, August 17th, all 17 branches of the Bruce County Public Library will be open to the public.
The library says, for those who would prefer to not come inside the branches, their curbside pickup service will continue to be offered.
Director of Library Services Brooke McLean says “Bruce County Public Library looks forward to safely reopening our branches so that we can return to the important work of being the 'great equalizer' in our communities, ensuring computer access for those who have been without and getting materials in the hands of people who need them”
Meanwhile, computers will be available by appointment and people are asked to wear a face covering and maintain proper physical distancing.
The library adds, visitors must sanitize their hands when entering and are asked to not touch materials they don't intend to borrow.
They say there will be limits on the number of people in branches and patrons are asked to find and check out materials in a timely manner.
Programming will remain online, including Online Story Time every weekday at 3pm on their Facebook page, and Online Trivia Nights on Mondays and Fridays.
Digital materials and services are always available 24/7 at library.brucecounty.on.ca
